5280 Sports and the Colorado Thunderbirds partner to help promote youth hockey in the State of Colorado.

The Colorado Thunderbirds and 5280 Sports have announced a partnership to help promote  youth hockey in the state of Colorado.  5280 Sports is a new online sports site that will be broadcasting live, play-by-play action of select Colorado Thunderbirds hockey games through the internet.

5280 Sports will also be hosting a new radio (podcast) show called "The Penalty Box" with Nick Vella and Angelo Ricci.  The first show was just posted online.  Please feel free to check it out.  We will be promoting Colorado hockey so please let Angelo Ricci know if there are topics that you would like to see discussed.

Please join us live at Big Bear ice Arena to cheer on your Thunderbirds as they host other top teams in the country during the AAA U18 West - Detroit Showcase, Feb 4th - 6th, 2010.
