Thunderbirds announce players drafted in 2010 USHL Draft

The Colorado Thunderbirds are pleased to announce that four players from the Colorado Thunderbirds were selected today in the USHL Main Entry Draft.  This brings the total to nine Thunderbird players taken in the Futures Draft and the Main Entry Draft over the past two days.  In yesterday's USHL Futures Draft for 1994 birth year players, the Thunderbirds had five players selected from the U16 AAA Tier 1 National Championship team.  "This has been a monumental couple of days for the Thunderbirds and Colorado hockey in terms of player exposure and what our program is all about. We truly believe in promoting our players to the next level.  We want to wish all these players the best in the pursuit of their dreams to play Tier 1 Junior A hockey and college hockey down the road," said Angelo Ricci, Director of Hockey Operations, Colorado Thunderbirds.
