Jordan Pietrus

Jordan Pietrus is a dynamic leader in youth hockey development, currently in his second year as Director of the Colorado Thunderbirds. Under his leadership, the 16U team captured the 2023-24 state championship, highlighting his ability to foster winning teams and develop young talent. A graduate of Brown University with an MBA in International Business from Coventry University, Jordan’s impressive background includes being named to the ECAC All-Academic team and earning the 2010 NCAA Derek Hines Unsung Hero Award.

Before his coaching career, Jordan enjoyed a successful nine-year professional hockey career in the ECHL and European leagues. He also made an impact off the ice as a lecturer at Coventry University, teaching both Undergraduate and Masters level courses. Now settled in Colorado with his wife and daughter, Jordan continues to shape the future of hockey, building on his achievements and guiding the Thunderbirds to new heights.
