18U Assistant Coach, Head of Digital Media - CEP Level 4

Alex grew up in Littleton playing AAA and AA hockey for Littleton and the Rocky Mountain Roughriders and currently serves as Head of Digital Media for the Colorado Thunderbirds. He previously coached at the 18U and 14U levels for the organization on Phil Patenaude and Adam Shaner's staffs from 2020-2024 after a stint at Littleton Hockey Association from 2015-2019.

A graduate of Syracuse University, Raj helped the school's ACHA program to two conference championships, a national tournament appearance and served as a captain his senior year. Alex graduated with a degree in Information Management and Technologies with concentrations and minors in Social Media Management, Broadcast Journalism and Psychology.

Raj currently works as the Digital Media Head for KSE Radio Ventures which owns and operates Altitude Sports Radio, Mix 100 and Kool 105. He is the Colorado Avalanche postgame show host, the team's radio network host, and the host of the mid-morning show on Altitude.

Alex resides in Sterling Ranch with his wife, Caitlin, and their Sheepadoodle, Tito.
