13O Head Coach - CEP Level 4

James returns to the Colorado Thunderbirds for his second season serving as the Head Coach of our 13O team.

James spent his season with our program as Associate Head Coach of our State Champion 16U team after previously serving as a coach with Cherry Creek High School. A Current On-Ice Instructor, James has several years of experience helping players develop their skill set and has assisted in running camps across the Rocky Mountain Region. James also represents the Philadelphia Rebels of the North American Hockey League as their Western Region Scout.

Coach Angelicola grew up playing Ice Hockey in Upstate New York for the Syracuse Stars Organization. His Junior Hockey career included two seasons spent with the Syracuse Stars of the EMJHL, two seasons with the Rochester Stars of the EJHL, and one season with the Rochester Jr. Americans of the USPHL in the league's inaugural season.

James went on to play NCAA Division III Hockey for New England College and received All-Academic honors on multiple occasions. James also was a member of the Lacrosse Program at New England College while being named an NAC Champion and NCAA Tournament Participant. Following his Collegiate Ice Hockey career, James had a small stint in Professional Hockey with the Danville Dashers of the FHL.

James currently resides in Denver with his wife Hannah, daughter Stella, and dog Willa.
