Luke is a smart defenseman who is able to read the flow of the game, find lanes and break pucks out of the zone, and make the physical simple plays that keep pucks out of our net. His game sense allows him to accurately pick and choose when to join rushes and contribute offensively without jeopardizing his primary defensive responsibilities. Solid gap control, skating ability and physicality allow him to match opponents speed and defend the rush. Luke adds a strong smart controlled physical element to the defense for his team.
