Jordan Pietrus brings experience as a professional player, Ivy League student-athlete, educator and youth hockey leader to the Colorado Thunderbirds.

A Brown University graduate, Pietrus played NCAA Division I hockey and received the 2010 Derek Hines Unsung Hero Award for leadership and character. He went on to play nine seasons professionally in North America and Europe. While playing in England, he earned an MBA in International Business from Coventry University, where he also served as a lecturer for two years.
Passionate about helping players reach their potential on and off the ice, Pietrus has helped lead multiple Thunderbirds teams to Colorado state championships. As President of Hockey Operations, he connects coaches and experts across teams and disciplines to create a collaborative, aligned approach to player development. He leads the organization’s hockey strategy and coaching direction while building strong relationships with USA Hockey and junior and college programs.
