15O Head Coach - CEP Level 3

Coach Davies is entering his 4th season with the Thunderbirds organization, where he served as the head coach for our 14U team last season and assistant coach for our 15U team for two seasons prior to that.

Mike is a St. Louis, Missouri native and grew up playing for the St. Louis AAA Blues program. Davies moved on to play junior hockey in the USHL for two seasons with the Dubuque Fighting Saints and the Waterloo Blackhawks. Following his junior career, Davies spent 4 years at The University of Denver, where he was a part of the 2017 NCAA National Championship team. He went on to play one season in the ECHL before retiring due to a season and career ending injury.

Coach Davies began his coaching career shortly after his professional career, joining Thunderbirds in 2022.
